Dorindie Syphrette

TIMES & DEMOCRAT, ORANGEBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA

Mrs Dorindie Syphrette Fields died at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital at 2:45 p.m. Thrusday after being in declining health for some time.  She was a member of the Orangeburg Pentecostal Church.  She was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Jane Morril Syphrette.  She is survived by the husband, John Fields of Neeses; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn (Ethel) Westbury of Neeses; three sons, John A. FIelds of Columbia, Oscar E. Filds of Neeses and Emmette R. Fields of Cordova; a brother, Paul Syphrette of North CHarleston; two sisters, Mrs. Leila Mills of Hendersonville, N.C. and Mrs. W. H. Lucas of Savannah, Ga.; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Fuenral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T.R. Jenkins officiating.  Interment will be in Double Branch Baptist Church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge.  Friends may call at the residence in Neeses and at the Thompson Funeral Home.
