Rev. Warren J. Fields

REV. WARREN J. FIELDS The Rev. Warren J. Fields, 58, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesay at the St.Francis Hospital in Charleston. He was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Thomas and Martha Fields, and was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunny Vista Church of God, near North, with the Rev. Lilly, the Rev. Millard Maynard, and the Rev T.R. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ellen Chavis Fields of Orangeburg; three daughters, Mrs. Acey (Mildred) Spires, Mrs. Jerell (Martha) Calder, Mrs Arnold (Carolyn) Lowery, all of Orangeburg; four sons, Warren J. Fields, Jr., U.S. Army, Ogden, Kansas, Roy L. Fields, Orangeburg; Arthur C. Harvey E. Fields, Charleston Air Force Base one brother, John Fields of Neeses; and six grandchildren.  Friends may call at the residence of Mrs. Acey Spires, Neeses Highway and at the Thompson Funeral Home.
